WIP Hello Winter

So summer vacation is coming to a close and I have the knitting addiction again –  I love when this happens.  I feel so into my projects that I wake up and feel like jumping out of bed so I can get knitting.  In the summer I am a lazy knitter, but as soon I feel like fall is nearing I get knitting energy.

I have two aran sweaters that both of my grandmas knit many years ago.  I want to knit one for myself that I will wear all the time.  I have knit Aidez by Cirilla Rose twice and I never wear either…the fit is just not right!  Sleeves are too tight and that makes it very uncomfortable.  Ive been researching a pattern and found Hello Winter by yellowcosmo.  I wanted raglan style with all over cables.  The charts are very well written and I don’t want to put my knitting down, its a bit obsessive.  I am knitting with our new fall color way Oyster and I am in love.

We will be sharing our new color ways soon – so stay tuned!  We have a lot of new and exciting things in the works at Nice & Knit!  We are transitioning our Etsy shop to a shop that will be part of our website.  This will be easier for you to pick your weights and color ways!  We need a few more hours attached to everyday to reach all of our goals.

I also wanted to share this incredible sweater!  It is so exciting to see all of the beautiful projects knit in Nice and Knit Yarns.

  1. I get that same itch to knit in the fall too – mine just struck a few days ago. We’ve had a few nights of cooler weather and – bang! – I am ready to get to knitting!

The cables you are working up are beautiful – can’t wait to see the finished result!

  2. So lovely! My mum used to knit when she still had a good eye. She’s really good on knitting like table cloth, cardigan…
Wish I have more extra time to knit.
