Color Profile: Lobster Pot

If you had a chance to check out our shop update you might notice two new things – some new colorways and some new yarn bases! Today we’ll highlight a personal favorite of mine that we’re calling Lobster Pot!

Lobster Pot is a unique red that has hints of brown and orange. I am so eager to knit a really awesome sweater in this color but have a few works in progress I need to finish first.

And about that new base? Well, that is another favorite. We have Cashmerino DK and Cashmerino Aran available.  It’s a blend of 80% Merino, 10% Cashmere, and 10% nylon which I think is the ideal combination for creating an ultra soft and super luxurious finished object.

I can’t wait to show you a few pieces I’ve been working on. I am so excited to knit with all of our colors and in different combos of colors that I’ve been casting a lot of projects and fighting temptations to cast on even more!

This reminds me of Prince Edward Island and going to the wharf each summer to buy Lobster. Plus I just love the colour of this yarn.
