Cozy Cowl
It’s no secret that as the youngest in my family, I am spoiled. And as I approach another birthday, this year has been no exception. Friday night my sisters held a little birthday bash in my honor and my sister Betsy made a two hand knit gifts that I just have to share with you. I’m going to share one at a time because they are so awesome that each deserves its own post.
The first is a beautifully soft and feminine cowl that features colorwork.
This was Betsy’s first time doing colorwork and she did an awesome job! Just look at the backside!
The cowl pattern was modified slightly by Betsy, but it is called Academic Cowl and Betsy knit it up in Madelinetosh Vintage in the Antique Lace and Nectar colorways.
Isn’t it lovely? Thanks so much Betsy, I love it!
Beautiful!!!
Very beautiful.
You’re sister did a wonderful job! It looks beautiful.
It’s so pretty and looks nice and snuggly!
So beautiful, and her stranding is a work of art!
The wrong side is perfect just like the right side! Even better in person! I’ll have to teach my sisters to knit so I can get one for my 30th ; )
That’s beautiful in itself, AND means so much more for being a hand-made gift. Happy birthday!
That’s beautiful!
