Weekend Work

The weekends are when I tend to get the majority of my knitting done. I like to wake up early, walk to Dunkin Donuts, grab a coffee and come home and knit while my husband sleeps. This past weekend I was able to accomplish a lot of knitting mixed in with a lot of other errands I needed to get done. It was great to feel so productive, let’s see if it carries into the rest of this work week!

First up, I officially finished Terra Linda for real this time. Then I cast on the baby pea pod and got that done. Then finally made some more progress on on the Abigail cardigan.

Peapod is very sweet and I’m happy with the yarn choice. I used Madelinetosh Vintage in Lowlands Colorway.  I just know this will be waaaay cuter with Mini Stanley snuggled into it.

The Abigail cardigan is one that I am certain I’ll wear often this coming fall and winter, so much so that friends and family will probably get very sick of seeing it on me…but boy-oh-boy I am ready to be done with this project.

It’s an awful lot of stockinette stitch for an awful lot of inches. I’m trying to push through and finish before I have the urge to cast on something else.  I doubt I’ll do very well on holding off…I already have the yarn and the pattern picked out for the next project!

I also managed to squeeze in a 1/2 hour of Sewing Saturday and made some progress on my next baby quilt!

‘Think I’ve got enough projects?
